Atlanta Parade Trip Information and Itinerary

Information

Parade Website: http://www.choa.org/parade

TV Info: The Parade is telecast live on WSB-TV from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm.  You can find this at http://www.wsbtv.com/.  The band will be at the beginning of the parade.

Bleachers: Any families making the trip to watch the parade that wish to buy VIP seats in the bleachers can go to this website www.choa.org/parade to do so.

Money: The only meal not provided for will be lunch at a fast food restaurant for Sunday’s return trip.  Depending on your student, they may need anywhere from $15-$20 for this meal.  Any souvenirs or other snacks/food not provided for per the itinerary that they wish to buy throughout the trip will be up to them.  They shouldn’t need more than $50 for spending money and their return trip meal.  Any snacks they might like on the bus or in their room should be brought with them.  Lisa Lowe/Hospitality is also accepting donations to take with us via Sign-up Genius (http://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090448aeaf2ea4ff2-atlanta)  Students won’t be allowed to order any take-out to the hotel.

Rules: All Lexington School District One rules will be in place during this trip.  Any egregious breaking of these rules or any illegal activity will result in a student being removed from the trip.  It will be their parent’s responsibility to come get them from Atlanta.  No pillows, blankets, remotes, etc. can be taken home from the hotel.  These items would get charged to us and we would then have to return that charge to the student.

Packing List:
