School’s out – day 3

 
Hello! 

I know most of you already heard, but in case you haven't, Lexington 
District 1 has once again cancelled school for tomorrow, Wednesday October 7th. 
This includes all after school activities. Our principal contacted the district 
office to ask if we could rehearse, but was told no. 
 
I know this is very frustrating! We all want to rehearse. But we can't go 
against school board decisions. 
 
I would encourage all section leaders to organize sectionals at your homes if 
possible, to review your music and movement. Color guard captains should do the 
same. 
 
What are you doing today to make the band better? This is the time where every 
individual can make a difference!
