Mr. Brandon Armstrong is the Associate Director of Bands at White Knoll High School.
A native of Fort Mill, SC, Mr. Armstrong holds a Master of Music in Education from Central Washington University, earned through the American Band College, and a Bachelor of Music Education with a Performance Certificate in Clarinet from the University of South Carolina. He has had the privilege of studying under esteemed mentors such as Connie Akers, Joseph Eller, Robert Spring, and Robert Chesebro.
Mr. Armstrong brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having previously served as the Director of Bands at Croatan High School in Newport, NC; Mid-Carolina High School in Prosperity, SC; Lakeside Middle School in Lexington, SC; and Irmo High School in Columbia, SC.
Residing in West Columbia with his wife Kendall, daughter Meredith, and their dog Bravo, Mr. Armstrong enjoys spending his free time with friends and family, exploring the outdoors, playing Dungeons & Dragons, and performing in community ensembles.
