Though the band year has just begun, we have some special (and important) events coming upon us quickly. Our fireworks fund-raising events will begin next week and continue for several days after the 4th of July.
It is imperative that we have good turnout. Please sign up for all of the TNT events using Charms. If you sign up for a shift, be sure and make that shift.
TNT Fireworks Promotional Event – Sunday, 6/22 at 3-5pm
Come help us promote our upcoming TNT Fireworks sale by meeting at the Dutch Fork Walmart at 3pm, Sunday, June 22 to help us place flyers in mailbox posts and paper boxes.
We need all available volunteers to assist with placing signs and transporting students throughout the neighborhoods to spread the flyers.
Sign up in Charms to volunteer for this event. This is an excellent opportunity for students under 16 years of age to participate on behalf of a band fund-raiser. The more awareness we bring to our fireworks sale, the more money we can make for the band.
Please wear one of the White Knoll band shirts. Look neat and not sloppy–we are officially representing the band.
TNT Fireworks Training Event – Tuesday, 6/24 at 6:30pm
General training for those planning to work the fireworks sales will be held on Tuesday, 6/24/2014 at 6:30pm in the band room.
We need everyone to attend, as this is our first time doing an event of this nature and we want to be sure we do everything right from the start. This type of event has excellent potential for continuing revenue and our performance will be important.
TNT Fireworks Sale Pre-Inventory – Friday, 6/27
Inventory for the TNT Fireworks sale will start on Friday 6/27 and run from 2:00pm until 6:00pm. Sales will begin at 6pm when inventory is complete.
TNT Fireworks Sale
Sales begin on Friday, 6/27, and conclude on Saturday, 7/5. We are expected to work late on July 4th. Charms shows a separate event for each shift, and we will be running 3 shifts per day, starting at 9:30am and ending at 10:30pm.
Early shift will perform inventory prior to opening. Late shift will close out the register and record the sales for the day.
