Important! Carnegie chaperone meeting

There is a chaperone meeting this Thursday, March 26th. The meeting will be held in the band room, and it will begin at 6:30 PM. It is important that you are present, as we will distribute the final itinerary, and discuss the logistics of the trip.
In the meantime, I will be sending you information for the trip, to include the itinerary, rooming list, and Sunday sightseeing options. I will need you to look over these items and respond accordingly. Each chaperone will be responsible for one or two rooms of students. At the end of each day, it is your responsibility to do a room check , and make sure they are safe and secure in their hotel room. As you look over this list, you may choose which rooms you want to be responsible for, and I will try to assign those to you.
Most of the trip is going to be very easy. The biggest challenge we will meet is the Sunday sightseeing options. On Sunday, we will be splitting into smaller groups, led by several chaperones. I will provide you with the various options, and you can volunteer for specific excursions. We will discuss these in detail Thursday.
I would like to mark each suitcase with the same luggage tag, so if anyone has access to some bright, colorful luggage tags, please let me know. The brighter, the better! This will help us when loading and unloading the bus, and hopefully ensure that we do not leave or misplace any luggage.
So, be on the lookout for upcoming emails from me with this information. I appreciate you volunteering for this trip!!
Also, please mark your calendars for Monday, March 30th. That will be the final Carnegie Trip meeting for all participants and their parents. That too will begin at 6:30 PM.
Thank you very much!!
Sincerely,
Mr. Barfield
