Those that have signed up to chaperone or volunteer for band events, thank you! Lexington School District One policy is ALL volunteers who are planning to chaperone, work with hospitality, or work with the pit crew must submit a Volunteer Consent Form and a Volunteer Background Check,stop by the main office of the high school during the school’s business hours and have your driver’s license scanned. The Volunteer Background Check is for day trips only and the Volunteer Consent Form is for overnight trips. You also must attend chaperone training. Those will be scheduled soon and post the dates.
This has to be done each and every year.
You don’t have to volunteer for any events or you can volunteer for one. This doesn’t obligate you to volunteer every single event. There are events after Marching Season that require chaperones that you may be interested in.
These need to be turned in as soon as possible. Thank you!
